Pussy Riot is a Russian protest punk rock and performance group, with themes including feminism, LGBT rights, opposition to Russian President Vladimir Putin and his policies, and the Russian Orthodox Church. In 2012 three of the group's members, Nadya Tolokonnikova, Maria Alyokhina and Yekaterina Samutsevich, were convicted of sacreligious hooliganism after a guerilla performance in Moscow Cathedral of Christ the Saviour and sentenced to two years' imprisonment. Graphic designer Jamie Reid created this poster in response. It features an image of Vladimir Putin with a typical Pussy Riot balaclava on top.
