Part of a scarf, plain weave cotton embroidered with silk in satin stitch with couched metal thread with silk binding. Fine white cotton with a light blue silk binding along one edge. There are 3 offset bands of 6 isolated floral sprigs, all bending slightly to the left: there are gold serrated leaves at the bottom, a red and pink flower with a blue flower on light and dark green leaves to its right, another not-so-open red blossom and pendant bud and a curving spray of silver leaves. It is cut along the upper edge.
Metal Thread: silver and silver-gilt strip and silver strip Z-wound on a white silk core which is used to outline motifs.
