Object history
This pot was shown in the exhibition "Touch and Go" (V&A, 1996) which had been assembled by ceramics students from University of the West of England as a result of their studies of the V&A Ceramics collections. Carroll had previously looking at 17th and 18th century slipwares and so the project was especially opportune. Purchased from the potter.
