Making hardware for bags requires metalworking expertise. Leofrance is a specialist company which collaborates with many international brands to interpret concept sketches. The process of making even a simple lock or clasp requires many stages, from prototype to finished piece. Once the plastic prototype is approved by the client, it can be machine-made or cast in metal, usually brass, then finished with various effects such as a shiny orbrushed surface in gold or palladium.
