Cameroonian-born Serge Mouangue worked in collaboration with Japanese kimono company Odasho to found Wafrica. The project fuses the kimono form with West African textiles. By finding commonality and celebrating differences, Wafrica seeks to create a truly global ‘third aesthetic’.
