Dress fabric of silk.

Woven silk, twill binding.
Stripes:
[1] white ground with a dark blue meander with diagonal stems forming an irregular lattice. The stems bear buds and rosettes in yellow with white centres, all edged in blue and a central rosette with 4 yellow petals and 4 green or 4 blue outer petals.
[2] dark blue ground with an isolated flower spray centrally placed in two variations: [a] pink petals, green centre edged in white with green/yellow leaves and [b] the same motif with dark blue petals and centre edged in white with dark blue/yellow leaves. The uppermost leaf points left in [a] and right in [b]
[3] white ground with an angular dark blue meander of serrated leaves with alternate yellow or green centres bearing buds with either 3 yellow and 2 blue petals or 3 dark blue and 2 yellow petals.
[4] a repeat of [2] but on a pink ground and the isolated flower spray [a] has blue petals and centres edged in white and leaves and [b] has green petals and dark blue leaves and outlines.
Warp: pink, dark blue and white silk.
Weft: yellow, faded pink, white, dark blue and green silk, all Z-twist.
