Woven silk and metal thread, plain weave ground.
Warp: pink or faded red silk, Z-twist.
Weft: silk: pink or faded red and dark blue, both indeterminable twist.
Metal thread: silver-gilt strip close S-wound on yellow silk core, indeterminable twist and silver strip open s-wound on a yellow silk core, indeterminable twist.
Five pieces sewn together, some cut on the bias.
Dark blue ground with a dense pattern, not easy to follow. Worked in metal thread with red or pink details. One of the pieces is red, the others are pink. Stylised floral pattern with horizontal and curling tendrils.
