Dress fabric of brocaded silk with metal threads.
Woven and brocaded silk, plain weave ground.
Warp: light turquoise silk, indeterminable twist. Weft: silk: light turquoise, red, pink [or possibly faded red], bright green, all indeterminable twist.
Metal thread: silver-gilt strip close and open S-wound on cream and also on deep yellow silk cores, both Z-twist.
Light turquoise ground with a repeating pattern of leafy lozenges joined by quatrefoil motifs. Each lozenge contains a large blossom and leaf and they are worked in metal thread with the plant leaves edged in bright green and the flower heads edged in red.
