  • 「流れの畔に / 朝鮮ほど清潔な衣服を繞ふとこ / ろは先づ外にないであろう。白色 / のた[illegible]一天張りだ。それだけに汚 / れ目を厭ふて絶えず洗濯をするの / で朝鮮の婦人は實に忙しい。 / だから朝鮮の何處に行つても流 / れがあればその流れに沿つて必ず / 洗濯棒の音がリズミカルに響いて / 来るのである。」 (Front)
    Transliteration
    ‘Nagare no hotori ni / Chōsen hodo seiketsu na ifuku wo nyō futoko/ro ha saki ni naidearō. Hakushoku nota [illegible] itten harida. Soredakeni yogo/re me wo iya fute taezu sentaku o suru no/de Chōsen no fujin wa minoru ni isogashii. / Dakara Chōsen no nichi chū ni gyō tsute mo naga/re ga are ba sono nagare ni yan tsute kanarazu / sentaku bō no otoga rizumikaru ni hibii te / kuru no de aru.’
