While constructing kimono in the standard form, Yoshikimono explore various ways the garment can be styled. The brand was founded by Yoshiki Hayashi, an acclaimed musician, songwriter and composer who comes from a family of kimono merchants. Informed by his experiences with the band X-Japan, Yoshiki infuses his kimono with punk sensibility.
