Upper cover blocked in gilt with 'Prix de College Municipal de Rollin' around gold sailing ship. Spine with four raised bands. Author, title and vol. no. lettered in gilt. Gilt ornaments. Marbled endpapers. Black silk register. Binding signed 'Golz' at foot on upper cover.
