Kimono designer Jōtarō Saitō shows regularly on the catwalks of Tokyo Fashion Week. He uses bold, yet harmonious, colour combinations, in which geometric or abstract elements are combined with stylised floral motifs. For the carefully considered ensemble that is worn in Japan, Saitō designs kimono, obi and accessories. Clients then combine them as they wish.
