American jeweller and sculptor Boris Bally has been fascinated by weapons and by industrial design since his childhood. His materials include discarded road signs and robotic parts scavenged from the Pittsburgh scrapyards.
The hoop of this ring is made of a smooth, flat semi-circle of silver which is joined together by a straight section of black anodised aluminium creating an object which is as much a piece of small sculpture as a wearable jewel.
