Object history
Poster designed by Nicky Bird as an April Fools Day spoof. He was once a member of museum staff in the Publications Department of the V&A and the poster advertises a non-existent series of joke exhibitions. The pseudonym Rick Pay-Tapp is an anagram of Patrick Yapp who designed many books for the V&A when Bird was Publications Officer.
