In the 1930s Chinese textile manufacturers produced a new product - woven pictures that could be used to decorate the sitting room. The pictures were most probably inspired by contemporary photographs and usually depict well-known scenic spots in China. The caption on this picture says that the monument depicted is the North Imperial Mausoleum in Liaoning province.
