Object history | Delaunay and Cendrars planned an edition of 150 copies, 8 to be on parchment with a handmade goatskin cover at 500 francs, 28 on Japanese paper with a handmade goatskin cover at 100 francs, and 114 on imitation Japanese paper with a handmade parchment cover for 50 francs. Library's copy signed in blue ink and numbered in red ink '111' by Blaise Cendrars. The four sheets have been wrongly joined between sheets 1 and 2, giving a white line across text and image some 6 mm. wide. Small tear (3 cm.) at the level of the fold of the first section. |
