Object history | Malhia supplied handwoven textiles to several leading European designers during the 1950s and 60s including Gabrielle Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Dior, Givenchy and Galitzine. A small swatch and photograph of this textile was included on a feature about Malhia in the British-based forecast publication Trends Fabrics & Fashion in 1966. |
