In the Han dynasty (206BC-AD220) grave goods included replicas of men and women engaged in work or leisurely recreations, made from pottery but in reduced size. This figure represents one of the players of a board game known as 'sixes'. The grave goods would allow the deceased to continue a similar life style in the underworld.
