Tazza has a very deep foot ring which form a stand, extending up to a wide rim. In the centre of the rim is a slightly convex well. It is in a cream-coloured earthenware, covered with coloured glazes. The underside and foot ring is in matt, mottled green. The edge of the rim of the upper surface is in blue. The rim is painted with brown scales. The well is black printed in blue on the cream body. The print is of a crouching 'chinaman' holding up a cage to a naked woman who stands in a mannerist pose. She holds a child and is standing in a porch.
