Teapot and cover of slip-cast white salt-glazed stoneware. Ogee-shaped body, octagonal facetted, with double-stepped base. Reeded wishbone handle, facetted curved spout; figure of a crouching lion surmounts the octagonal cover. Applied to each facet are a flowering spray, growing flowers, and a squirrel eating nuts, each being from a separate mould. Birds and leaves in low relief on the cover.
