Posset-pot and cover, buff earthenware with decoration in white, brown and olive green slips under a yellow lead glaze. Cylindrical with two loop handles; domed cover with large button knob. Decorated on each side with two flowers between green leaves and vertical stripes; on the cover a stylised peacock and a formal flowering spray.
