Vase of ironstone painted in enamels and gilded. On the neck and body are Chinese mythical birds amid flowering plants. Bulbous body with a long neck and spreading mouth. The two handles are in the form of snakes supported by gilt scrolls. Round the mouth are two floral sprays and a border with an insect and a fish in cartouches separated by sprays of flowers on a dotted green ground.
