Gallery Label
Plastic pollution is now acknowledged as an environmental disaster. Some makers and designers use recycled plastic instead of new. The large bag is woven from discarded carriers found washed-up on the Australian coast. British brand Stella McCartney uses Ocean Plastic®, a fabric made from marine waste, to make this limited-edition backpack with all proceeds donated to Sea Shepherd, an organisation established in 1977 to protect aquatic life.
