Gallery label | Fairy tales, folklore and magic rituals have been a regular inspiration for designers who often incorporate aspects of well-known stories into their bags. This can be done in a literal way, for instance by designing the bag in the shape of an Easter egg, a skull or a monster. Other designers might choose a more subtle approach, such as the trumpet and heart details to evoke Alice in Wonderland, applied to an otherwise traditional bag [T.61-1997].
