Artist/Maker
Place of origin

Louise Gray is an independent Scottish designer. Trained at Glasgow School of Art and Central Saint Martins, she is known for her colourful, bold-patterned fabrics, and her designs experiment heavily with combinations of textures. This ensemble comes from the I'LL TAKE IT collection, Autumn/Winter 2012. This collection focused on clashing graphic designs, including high contrast black and white pieces. The ensemble comprises a dress with a orange rubber printed sequin front and a black and white printed silk crepe back. The dress is styled with black and white tights and sleeves, black and yellow rubber boots made in collaboration with Polini and a human-hair headdress made by Nasir Mazhar.
