Object history | Considered by Lomax to be the outstanding piece of this ware in the collections. Glaze discovered 1903, this glaze that inspired the Lancastrian range. In RF 4119/1905 Wm. Burton writes 'in the task of selection I have had the assistance of Mr. Lewis F. day so that the collection we offer you may be taken as representative on the arttistic as well as the technical side of our productions' (67 to 87-1905). |
