Costume design for Oh What a Lovely War. Black and white drawing showing the Music Hall Star. She wears a tight-fitting sleeveless black dress decorated with sequins and flaring out to create a ‘fish-tail’ at the lower leg. The shoulder straps have hanging strands of beads. At the bust, covering each breast, is a white circle decorated with beads. She has a wide-brimmed hat, fishnet stockings and evening gloves, and holds a staff in her left hand. Behind her are three scantily-clad chorus girls representing the military and, at upper left, a poster with the words 'Women of Britain say Go!'. Signed.
