Clarice Cliff is the name most strongly
associated with British Art Deco ceramics.
Her bold, colourful, hand-painted, abstract
patterns were first launched in 1928 under
the name ‘Bizarre’. Numerous patterns
followed in the late 1920s and early 1930s
and achieved enormous popularity.
