Figure of Benjamin Franklin, of earthenware, painted in colours. Standing figure, wearing a brown coat, yellow knee-breeches, white stockings, black shoes and a blue cloak thrown over his shoulders. His right hand is stretched out, in his left is a book. Supported on a high square pedestal painted to imitate marble, with a yellow oval medallion in relief on either side. Underneath the pedestal are painted the words 'Dr. Franklin.'
