This coat is an important and widely recognized example of Yamamoto’s work. It is a re-interpretation of an item from a previous collection in 1986. It was featured as a new fashion design in the Autumn/Winter 1995/96 collection, illustrating the practice of designers revisiting and reinterpreting key designs from their oeuvre.
