Beer jug of salt-glazed stoneware painted with enamels. Pear-shaped with a wide spreading mouth, sharp pouring lip and reeded loop handle. Painted under the lip with a bust portrait of Prince Charles Edward Stuart, the Young Pretender, in Highland dress. On one side is a rose and thistle and other flowers. On the other side are two sprays of wild roses. Chinese style borders of pink and green diaper.

Physical description
Beer jug of salt-glazed stoneware painted with enamels. Pear-shaped with a wide spreading mouth, sharp pouring lip and reeded loop handle.
