Mug of cream coloured lead-glazed earthenware painted in enamels. Cylindrical in shape with a moulded foot and loop handle. The front is inscribed with 'Tho' malt and venom / Seem united / Don't break my pot / Nor be affrighted' and is surrounded by a roughly-painted wreath of roses and ribbons. Inside is a figure of a toad in relief.

Mug of cream coloured lead-glazed earthenware painted in enamels. Cylindrical in shape with a moulded foot and loop handle. The front is inscribed with 'Tho' malt and venom / Seem united / Don't break my pot / Nor be affrighted' and is surrounded by a roughly-painted wreath of roses and ribbons. Inside is a figure of a toad in relief.
