Flower vase of ‘Pearlware’ lead-glazed earthenware painted in high temperature underglaze colours ('Pratt-ware'). In the form of five bulbous tubes linking internally and radiating from a base which has two straight and two round sides and is flanked by acanthus leaves. Painted with sprays of flowers, the moulding on the base is picked out in green-brown and shell ornament at the mouths is picked out in blue.
