Basket and stand of lead-glazed earthenware, transfer-printed and painted in underglaze blue. Both pieces are oblong with rounded corners and openwork rim composed of interlaced wavy bands coloured blue. They are transfer-printed inside with a mountainous landscape in which are a mansion by a river and a group of three peasants. The basket has a loop handle at either end and an openwork foot and is printed outside with four small landscapes.
