This poster was created to advertise a major artwork commission by the artist for all 270 stations to mark the underground’s 150th anniversary in 2013. The artist wanted to create a series which spoke to the seeming complexity of the Underground and its millions of daily users, as well as being in dialogue with the Undergrounds rich history of graphic design, such as the iconic roundel and the Harry Beck map.
