Octagonal cream jug in Black Basalt stoneware, with applied moulded reliefs in red ('Rosso Antico'), each of the two longer side panels with figures in oval surrounds, and the flanking shorter panels with floral trophies. The interior is glazed.
On one of the side panels is a figure of Antonia with the urn containing the ashes of her son Germanicus, modelled by William Hackwood in 1773
