Jug of black basalt, with applied decoration moulded in relief. On the front is a figure of Venus standing in a shell on the sea drawn by dolphins, attended by Cupid. Bulbous body, horizontally reeded neck with projecting lip, angular loop handle. On either side of the body is a tree and round the shoulder a wreath of vine with grapes.
