Artist/Maker
Place of origin

This wallpaper, produced for Coloroll in the 1980s, is a good example of mid-market wallpaper design of the period, adopting contemporary graphic styles – in this case an interpretation of urban graffiti. The designer, John Wilman, has specialised in designs which adapt styles and motifs from modern and contemporary art. In the 1980s and 1990s Wilman was a significant player in shaping and promoting the famous Coloroll brand. A complete roll (E.634-2019) is also in the collection.
