Cup and saucer of blue stoneware, with white reliefs. On one side of the cup are figures of Dido receiving Aeneas and Achates, and on the other, Cupid stealing the bow of Diana who lies sleeping under a tree. On the front of the cup is a butterfly above a basket of flowers. The lower part is turned with vertical bands in slight relief; foliated loop handle. The saucer has a border of palm and acanthus leaves arranged alternately.

Physical description
Cup and saucer of blue stoneware, with white reliefs. On one side of the cup are figures of Dido receiving Aeneas and Achates, and on the other, Cupid stealing the bow of Diana who lies sleeping under a tree.
