Basin of cane-coloured stoneware, decorated with applied figures in low relief, among them Sterne's 'Maria,' from a design by Lady Templeton. The remaining figures are: a girl seated dancing a cupid on her toe, a shepherdess reading under a tree and a girl kneeling before a pedestal on which is a flaming vase. The lower part is vertically reeded.

Physical description
Basin of cane-coloured stoneware, decorated with applied figures in low relief, among them Sterne's 'Maria,' from a design by Lady Templeton. The remaining figures are: a girl seated dancing a cupid on her toe, a shepherdess reading under a tree and a girl kneeling before a pedestal on which is a flaming vase.
