Object history | Intaglios from this mould did not appear in catalogues during Josiah I's lifetime but are listed in Boardman's reprint of 1817. It is likely that this subject was made after 1795 but before the Acts of Union 1800 as the design of the Union Flag depicted is different from the Union Flag that was created after the union with Ireland. |
