Historical context
A copy after the lithograph by Louis Haghe in Roberts, Egypt & Nubia, 1846-9, Vol.II, [Pl.35], (1855 edn., Vol.V, Pl.204). An attribution to Gonsalvo Carelli (1818-1900) has been suggested, cf. two watercolours in Sotheby's, 15.11.73: see Searight Archive.
