Papers made from edible ingredients
E.2036-1991

The idea of making paper which could be recycled as
food was inspired by the sight of poor South American
families boiling ink out of newspapers and eating the
pulp. The ingredients were gathered in what the artist
described as 'the physical manifestation of a conceptual
pursuit' and are thus a record of a 'happening' as well
as independent works of art.
