Reid developed his confrontational graphics in the
Suburban Press, a magazine published in Croydon,
1970-75. The DIY ethos of Reid and the archetypal punk
group, The Sex Pistols, energised hundreds of young
designers and musicians disillusioned by the complacency
of the established music and press industries.
