Physical description
Award consisting of a solid bronze statuette on a circular wooden base. The statuette depicts the figure of Euterpe, the Ancient Greek muse who presided over music, reading. Below the figure is a circular band of bronze inscribed with: AN IVOR NOVELLO AWARD. The plinth features a metal plaque engraved with the following inscription: OUTSTANDING SERVICES TO BRITISH MUSIC / JOE LOSS / 1966. The underside of the base is lined with green felt.
