Mantle of bronze-brown silk velvet with a stencil print design in silver and gold which consists of winged lions, opposed bids and formal, classical motifs inspired by medieval Italian silks. It fastens with a hook at the neck and has a decorative pendant tassel in grey and gold. It is almost semi circular in cut. It is full, flowing and just above ankle length. It is collarless and has slits for the arms.
It is lined with grey/beige silk with a gathered facing around the neck and at the arm holes.
