This dish shows two large birds with out-spread wings and tails locked in a fight amidst dense flaming clouds with three cash signs in flame. Both flange and well are painted with a wide four-part leafy scroll with eight insignificant flowers. A similar but simplified scroll covers the outside. The dish is heavy for its size.
The cash motif also appears on dishes nos. 599-1889 and 2897-1876.
