ZOO Art Fair was a London-based non-profit art fair held annually in October from 2004 to 2009. The event got its name from its first venue, the London Zoo in Regent's Park. It established a reputation for showcasing new and innovative contemporary British art before eventually succumbing to competition from the Frieze Art Fair.
ZOO Portfolio was launched in 2005 and contains work by eleven contemporary artists represented at the 2005 fair. The work was specially commissioned for the portfolio by the curator David Thorpe and represents an eclectic body of practice, ranging from more conventional published media such as screen printing to jewellery, music, and do-it-yourself sculpture.
