The Temperance Basin

From the outset, the Temperance Basin has been copied, adapted and appropriated in a variety of ways, made possible by the application of industrial technology to the arts.
Scanning technologies offer new potential for reproduction, while digital design is a craft enabling historic works of art to be manipulated before they are produced in material form. This smaller modern print of the Temperance Basin shows the ease with which digital technology enables objects to be reproduced at any scale.
