CHAIR Designed by G.A. Jenkins (British) Made by Packet Furniture Ltd., Great Britain, 1950-52 Stamped with the Utility mark Laminated wood, upholstered seat Given by Vera E. Dawkins W.2-1991 This chair dates from the end of the Utility period and demonstrates awareness of the flowing lines of much contemporary continental furniture, particularly Scandinavian and Italian. It outlasted the Utility scheme, when its manufacture was taken over by E.E.Kahn and Co. Ltd., of Great Yarmouth.(1992)
